My Journey as a Healer

How I came to learn this sacred art.

In 2019 I was pierced to the soul by the words of a man I consider to be a Prophet. As he was speaking to women of my faith he said, “Every woman and every man who makes covenants with God and keeps those covenants… has direct access to the power of God… along with a gift of knowledge to know how to draw upon that power… you have the right to draw liberally upon the Savior’s power to help your family and others you love.” He went on to say, “You won’t find this process spelled out in any manual. The Holy Ghost will be your personal tutor as you seek to understand what the Lord would have you know and do. This process is neither quick nor easy, but it is spiritually invigorating. What could possibly be more exciting than to labor with the Spirit to understand God’s power?”

I took this idea seriously and began a quest to learn, understand and be spiritually guided to better access God’s power. One of the things I know, is that you do not have to have the same belief in God that I do, nor do you need to accept the same concept of spirituality that I do, for this work to have a healing effect on you. Your part is simply to use the power of your choices to accept the work and IT WORKS. SO COOL!!!!

I began my quest. I searched scripture and holy writings I used prayer, mediation and journaling. I listened for the voice of the Holy Ghost and for those promptings that, for lack of a better term, make my soul feel bright.

One day, while listening to a podcast on an unrelated topic I heard the host say something about her energy worker. That “soul bright” feeling struck me so powerfully. I’d never heard the term “energy worker.” I had no idea what that was or what that meant but the impact of those words played over and over in my mind in such a powerful way I knew I had to know more. A Google search led me to the site of a Reiki practitioner in my town. That “soul brightness” filled her website and I scheduled a session with her. I LOVED it! I had a real and powerful experience and was amazed by what occurred in that session. As we spoke afterward, she mentioned something about the heat in my hands and indicated that it could be a characteristic of a healer and asked if others had mentioned “healing effects I may have had on them.” The truth was, the more I thought on that statement the more I was flooded with exactly those memories and statements.

I found a Reiki Level I & II class and prayerfully asked God if that was something I should learn about. I received clear words in my mind, “That is a good place to START.” Knowing that, for me, it was a starting point and not my destination, I took the class and began practicing Reiki energy work on family and friends. I got some great info on chakras, the connection of the physical body with the energetic body and accessing universal power to heal and effect those connections.

I have continued to be Divinely guided along this path and additional insights have occurred. I’ve actively engaged in my own healing work to improve the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual effect of the trauma I’ve experienced, living in this imperfect world. We all get it, and we can all heal from it. And I’m continuing to learn more and do more in this realm of Intuitive Healing.

For me, Jesus Christ is my teacher. He has brought truth into my mind and guided my understanding. He has led me to learn from others, all of which I am happy to share with you. That “soul bright” feeling draws me to some information and causes me to discard other bits of information. If it doesn’t feel “soul bright” I know it is not on the path of my quest to “to labor with the Spirit to understand God’s power.” And I am determined to understand and use God’s power to bless and love others.

This is my quest. This is my mission. This is why I’m here to - bring Divine goodness, Intuitive Healing and God’s power into the lives of as many as He will direct into my path.

So, our paths have crossed and perhaps converged.
